Questions pandits ask
Do I have to accept every booking?
No. You accept or decline each one, and declining carries no penalty.
Can I set my own prices?
Prices come from the city catalogue so families see one honest number. You choose which pujas and which packages you offer.
What does it cost me?
Nothing. The platform fee is charged to the family and shown to them as ours.

What a pandit is asked for is specific and finite: proof of identity, a bank account in your own name, references who can speak to your work, and consent to a background check. Each is a separate check with its own outcome, and your profile shows which you hold rather than a single badge that hides the difference.

Which pujas you offer, which languages you conduct them in, which areas you travel to and which days you are available are all yours to set, and a booking is offered to you rather than assigned. Prices come from the city catalogue so that families see one honest number and pandits are not undercutting each other on the same rite.
The platform fee is charged to the family and shown to them as ours. It is never deducted from your fee and never presented as dakshina. Payment for a completed puja is released after the completion is recorded, which is the same step that closes the booking for the family.
