About Mahavir Mandir
Mahavir Mandir sits directly opposite Patna Junction, which is why it is often the first and last stop of a journey through Bihar. The present temple was built in 1983 — a plain two-storey structure with the Hanuman sanctum above and a Ram darbar below — and it is among the busiest temples in eastern India by footfall.
The temple is known for its Naivedyam, a laddu prasad prepared on site, and for the charitable hospitals its trust runs. Sundarkand and Hanuman Chalisa path are read here through the day; families commonly keep a Mangalvar path after a new job, a new house or a recovery in the family.
The temple is independent and has no agreement with BookMyPandiit. Nothing on this page is booked from the temple.
