What the ritual is

Lakshmi Puja is the Diwali-evening puja of Lakshmi and Ganesha. It runs about 2 hrs with one pandit, and is kept in the home.

The vidhi is fixed by tradition and the pandit follows it in order; what varies between families is custom — which deity is honoured first, whether a particular prasad is made, how much of the katha is read aloud. Tell the pandit what your family has always done and he will make room for it where the vidhi allows.

Temple charge: Charged by the temple when the ritual is performed there, and only then.
GST: Tax charged as the law requires, shown separately.
