“Verified” on its own means nothing, so we never use the word alone. Every pandit profile shows which of the six checks he holds and which he does not — including the ones that are missing.

What each check means
A government photo ID matched to the name and face on the profile. Re-run every 12 months.
It does not mean we have judged his ritual knowledge — that is the references check.
A bank account in the pandit's own name, penny-verified, so payouts cannot be routed to anyone else.
It does not mean we hold his money. Payouts leave after the completion window.
Two references from families he has served and one from his guru parampara or vidyalaya, contacted by us.
It is not a certification of scriptural authority. It is testimony we have actually called.
At least 20 completed pujas reviewed for punctuality, correctness of vidhi and conduct with the family.
It is not a rating. Ratings come from families and appear separately.
A named temple has authorized him for its sevas, under a signed agreement with an expiry date.
It applies only to the temple that granted it, and it lapses when the agreement does.
Police verification through our screening partner, with the reference number held on file.
It covers what public records show. It is not a guarantee of future conduct, and we do not claim otherwise.
