Griha Pravesh muhurat 2027
A muhurat is a window the panchang marks as favourable for beginning something. This calendar lists those windows and nothing else: no date here is a ranking, a caution or a warning.

What the tradition asks of a Griha Pravesh date
A griha pravesh date is chosen and not merely convenient, and the tradition's constraints on it are firm: not during Chaturmas, not in Kharmas, and not in Pitru Paksha. In practice that leaves the stretch from Devutthana Ekadashi in November to the middle of December, and from Makar Sankranti in January to Devshayani Ekadashi in June.
The date decides the move rather than the other way round. The house is expected to be empty of furniture for the rite and the household to sleep in it that night, so a family that books the movers first usually finds it has fixed the wrong week. A newly built house takes a Vastu Shanti before this, on the same day or the day before.
The available stretches are short, and they are the same ones every other household is working from — so the date usually has to be fixed before the sale completes or the lease starts, rather than after. Families that wait until they have the keys often find they are choosing between two dates rather than ten.
