Verified pandits

What verified means here

Every pandit on this site is a named person with a profile, and the profile lists the checks he actually holds rather than a badge that means nothing in particular. The six are separate and are shown separately: identity, bank account, references, quality, temple authorization and background. A profile shows the ones held and, just as plainly, the ones not held.

A profile carries no phone number and no address. That is not an oversight: it keeps the pandit's home private, keeps the booking inside the app where the payment is held until the puja is done, and means the price shown is the price paid. A pandit appears here at all only after opting in to a public profile, so this listing is smaller than the number of pandits who work through the app.

Ratings appear where enough completed bookings exist to make one mean something, and are absent where they do not — a new pandit shows his checks and his experience rather than a number assembled out of three reviews. If a pandit cannot keep a booking, a replacement of the same language and tradition is arranged and the swap is approved in the app before the puja rather than after.
