What decides the cost of a Vivah
A marriage is the largest booking on the site and the one with the most variables: the rite runs three to four hours, the muhurat is often late at night, and the pandit's day is committed either side of it. The mandap, the fire, the samagri and the number of assisting pandits are all settled before the quote rather than after.
What is different in Rajgir
Rajgir is small and its distances are short, but the town's ritual centre is the kunds rather than the houses, so a rite kept there carries the travel and the timing of a site visit. The Malamas fair in the intercalary month is the one period when nothing local can be planned around.
