What decides the cost of a Rudrabhishek
The abhishek's cost sits mostly in what is poured. Milk, curd, ghee, honey and sugar in the quantity a full abhishekam needs is the largest line in the samagri, and bilva leaves are bought by weight. The ekadasha form takes longer than the single recitation and is quoted separately from it.
What is different in Varanasi
The city's temple rites are fitted between fixed aartis, and where a rite is kept at a temple the temple's charge is its own and is shown as a separate line. The lanes mean the last stretch to most addresses is walked, which is a time cost for the pandit rather than a distance one, and it is why the bands here read differently from a city with roads to the door.
