What decides the cost of a Vastu Shanti
Vastu Shanti includes a havan for the directions and the nine grahas, so its samagri is heavier than the length of the rite suggests. It is usually booked with a griha pravesh, and the two together are quoted as two rites on one visit rather than as a package.
What is different in Rajgir
Rajgir is small and its distances are short, but the town's ritual centre is the kunds rather than the houses, so a rite kept there carries the travel and the timing of a site visit. The Malamas fair in the intercalary month is the one period when nothing local can be planned around.
