What decides the cost of a Ganesh Puja
A standalone Ganesh puja is the shortest booking on the site and is priced accordingly. At Ganesh Chaturthi the same puja opens with a pranapratishtha and the visarjan is a second appointment days later, so the festival form is quoted as the two visits it is.
What is different in Varanasi
The city's temple rites are fitted between fixed aartis, and where a rite is kept at a temple the temple's charge is its own and is shown as a separate line. The lanes mean the last stretch to most addresses is walked, which is a time cost for the pandit rather than a distance one, and it is why the bands here read differently from a city with roads to the door.
