What decides the cost of a Griha Pravesh
A griha pravesh is priced on its length and its fire. It runs two to three hours with a havan in it, so it needs the havan samagri and the ghee that goes with it, and the kalash, the coconut and the milk for the boiling are the family's or the package's depending on which one is taken. A Vastu Shanti kept the same day is a second rite and is quoted as one.
What is different in Rajgir
Rajgir is small and its distances are short, but the town's ritual centre is the kunds rather than the houses, so a rite kept there carries the travel and the timing of a site visit. The Malamas fair in the intercalary month is the one period when nothing local can be planned around.
